I specialize in thinning hair because I have lived it myself. I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2019 and watched my hair fall out in clumps. Finding extensions changed everything for me, and that experience is the reason I do this work and why I approach every client the way I do. If you want to read my full story you can find it on my about me page.

Your first visit will be a thorough consultation where we will talk about your hair history, what has changed, what you have already tried, and what you are truly hoping for. I will assess your hair density, your scalp health, and your texture, and we will walk through which extension method is the best fit for your hair and your lifestyle. There is no pressure and nothing is rushed. If we decide together that extensions are the right move we will go ahead and book your install appointment, and when that day comes I will walk you through every step of the process as we go. By the time you leave you will understand everything about your extensions and exactly how to care for them at home so you feel completely confident walking out the door.
General Questions
-
Pricing is based on the amount of hair needed to achieve your goal, which we determine together during your consultation. I offer three starting points ranging from added volume all the way to extra length, with prices that include the hair itself, the installation, custom color blending, and a precision haircut to make everything blend naturally. Your first appointment also includes a scalp detox treatment and one on one styling education so you leave knowing exactly how to care for your hair at home. You will also receive 30% off any in stock at home hair care products. Maintenance appointments are a separate cost and vary depending on your method and how frequently you need to come in. Every client's hair is different so your final investment is always discussed openly and transparently at your consultation before you ever commit to anything.

Getting started is really simple and I designed it that way on purpose. The first step is filling out a short online consultation form so I can learn a little about your hair and what you are looking for. I review every form personally and respond within 24 hours. This step helps us both make sure we are the right fit before you ever have to come in. Once we have connected through the form and feel good about moving forward, we will book your in person consultation. If you still have questions or are feeling a little hesitant before that appointment I am also happy to jump on a FaceTime call so you can get a feel for things from the comfort of your own home. At your in person consultation we will go through everything together, and if we decide extensions are the right move we will go ahead and book your install from there.

I understand the hesitation and I want you to know it is a real investment. What I would ask you to consider is this: what is it worth to walk into a room and feel completely and genuinely confident about your hair? My clients tell me all the time that their extensions changed how they show up at work, in relationships, and in front of the mirror every single morning. Done well, extensions also last. You are not paying for something that disappears in a week. And when you factor in the time, the energy, and the money already spent on products that have not solved the problem, working with a specialist who genuinely addresses the root cause often ends up being the more worthwhile choice in the long run. A consultation is always the best first step with no pressure and no obligation, just an honest conversation about what is possible for your hair.

This is a question I get asked all the time. My specialty is fine hair, so I only work with methods that lay as flat as possible. I will blend your natural hair seamlessly into the extension hair and color match you perfectly so no one will ever know. I will also teach you how to style your hair so your extensions will never show.
-
Color matching for fine and thinning hair is truly an art. I source extension hair from multiple suppliers and I take the time to blend, sometimes mixing several shades to create a match that accounts for your natural dimension, your highlights, and the way your hair catches light. If needed, the extensions can be colored to an exact match. You will never leave with a flat, single color result. I mix and blend the hair to look dimensional and flawless, just as if it grew right out of your head.
Will it look Natural
-
Absolutely, and this is exactly what I specialize in. Fine hair needs a completely different approach than thick hair, and that is where my 15 plus years of experience really makes a difference. I use hand tied weft, tape in, and keratin bonded extensions because they are the most lightweight and gentle options available for fine hair. I also customize the placement to work with your natural growth patterns so the result is seamless volume and length that looks like it simply grew that way.
-
You might be surprised. For most women with fine or thinning hair the answer is yes, it really just comes down to using the right method. Techniques designed for thick hair can absolutely damage fine hair, but the methods I use are chosen specifically for their gentleness and low tension attachment. We will always start with a thorough consultation so I can assess your hair density and scalp health, and I will be completely honest with you about what is possible. If extensions are not the right fit for you right now I will tell you, and we will talk through your next steps together.

This depends on the type and stage of your hair loss, which is why a consultation is so important. For many people experiencing thinning from stress or hormones, which is the most common cause, extensions are a wonderful option and can be placed safely. If you are experiencing more patchy or localized thinning we can look at gentler and more temporary methods to fill in those areas without any added stress to your scalp. I also incorporate scalp detox and rejuvenation treatments into my practice, which help support a healthier scalp environment alongside your extensions. For more advanced hair loss I will always refer you to the right specialists if that is what you need. I want what is genuinely best for your hair and your confidence.
Am I a Candidate
-
I specialize in three methods: hand tied weft, tape in, and keratin bonded extensions. All three are chosen because they distribute weight gently without relying on excessive glue, heat, or tension at the root. These methods can also be heavily customized so that the extensions match your natural density as closely as possible for the most seamless result. Hand tied wefts are sewn in with a beaded row and lay completely flat against the head. Tape ins sandwich a small section of your natural hair between two flat adhesive panels. Keratin bonds use a small heat activated tip that fuses gently to your hair without causing damage. During your consultation we will choose together the method that best fits your hair type, your density, and your daily lifestyle.
-
Sadly I hear this far too often, and it breaks my heart every time. Bad extension experiences are almost always the result of the wrong method being used on the wrong hair type. Heavy, high tension extensions that do not take your hair's natural growth pattern and root strength into consideration can cause serious breakage on fine hair and over time can even lead to traction alopecia. The methods I use are specifically chosen for fine and thinning hair. They are applied at low tension, maintained on an appropriate timeline, and removed with great care. I also make sure every client knows how to care for their extensions at home so they are never putting unnecessary stress on their natural hair. Good extensions should never cost you your hair. I also stay in close contact with my clients while they are wearing their extensions, and if anything comes up we address it right away before it has a chance to cause any damage.
-
On fine and thinning hair we do need slightly more frequent maintenance appointments than with thicker hair. With proper care most extension methods last anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks before a move up appointment where the extensions are repositioned as your natural hair grows. As for the extension hair itself, when proper at home care and regular salon maintenance is kept up, the hair can last much longer, often 8 months to a year and in some cases even beyond that. Fine hair is not a limitation on longevity at all. Proper technique and good at home habits are truly what keep extensions looking and feeling their best. Before you leave the salon you will know exactly what to do to get the most out of your investment.
Protecting your hair
-
When applied and maintained correctly, no they will not. It is improper tension, leaving extensions in too long, or removing them carelessly that causes damage. My approach puts your natural hair's health first at every single step. I assess attachment points to avoid areas of vulnerability, schedule move up appointments on an appropriate timeline, and always remove everything gently. Many of my clients actually find their natural hair is in better condition during our time together, and when they eventually choose to remove their extensions they are genuinely happy with how healthy their hair is. It has often grown longer and fuller than it was before they ever started wearing extensions, because we have been actively supporting their scalp health the whole time.
-
It is more manageable than most people expect. I send every client home with clear care instructions and product recommendations that are formulated specifically for extension hair. The main adjustments are simple: brush gently from ends to roots using a soft bristle brush, sleep with your hair loosely braided or twisted, and avoid heavy conditioners or oils applied directly at the bond area. You can still blow dry, curl, and style your hair just as you normally would, and you will likely find your hair holds styles better than it ever did before because you finally have the weight and texture to work with.
Day to Day with extensions
-
Properly applied extensions should feel like nothing within a day or two. A mild awareness of something new is completely normal but discomfort, itching, or pain is not. If you ever experience anything persistent I want to hear about it right away. Because I specialize in scalp health I pay close attention to your scalp at every single appointment, and if any irritation develops we address it immediately rather than waiting for it to become a bigger problem. I will also walk you through exactly what to look out for at home and make sure you know when to reach out if something is causing you pain or discomfort. You will never feel like you are on your own between appointments.
-
Think of your scalp as the soil your hair grows from. If it is clogged with product buildup, struggling with excess oil, or simply undernourished, your hair growth is compromised before it even begins. Scalp detoxing removes buildup that regular shampooing just cannot reach, while scalp rejuvenation treatments stimulate circulation and nourish the follicle environment so your hair has the best possible foundation to grow from. I incorporate these treatments into my practice because I truly believe that hair health starts at the root, literally. It also keeps your scalp in the best possible condition while your extensions are in place, reducing irritation and keeping your natural hair as healthy as it can be throughout our entire time working together.
Scalp health & Hair growth
-
Yes, and this is honestly one of the most exciting parts of what I do. Extensions give you immediate confidence and fullness while your scalp and natural hair are actively being nurtured through our detox and rejuvenation work. I have watched so many clients grow length and density over time, all while never having to go without beautiful hair in the process. My goal is not to make you dependent on extensions forever. It is to support your hair's best possible growth while you feel amazing in the meantime. Whether you keep extensions long term or eventually graduate out of them entirely, we are always working toward your hair's health either way. I cannot promise more than your natural hair is willing to give, but I can promise that we will give your scalp and your natural hair the very best chance at success, all while you are wearing beautiful extensions.
